    Good morning lovelies!

It’s ridiculous and sad how February is just about done – it’s my favourite month, V Day, my birthday (tomorrow) and it’s wedding and proposals season too, there’s always such a fabulous air of loved-upness around. But just because February comes to an end tomorrow doesn’t mean you need to say goodbye to showing your home some love from Yuppiechef. Aside from the best online kitchen gear selection in town, did you know they’ve also expanded their focus to homeware and tableware? Which makes their gift and wedding registries service one of the most comprehensive around.

I’ve made a little selection of things i love, that are classic home buys and that should you be looking to add to your registry selection or give to couple who are tying the knot, would likely go down a treat.

Wooden Board R749, Glass Oil & Vinegar Pourer Set R349

    Wonderful Wood

You can’t go wrong with wood – it’s warm, classic and goes brilliantly with classic or contemporary decor. A wooden board for serving cheese and meats will always be a welcome guest in any home and this oil and vinegar pourer set is a sexy tabletop lust have.  Yuppie5

Le Creuset utensil holder, R200, Le Creuset buffet casserole, R2340, side plates R120 each

    Pastel Pretties

Pastels continue to be a popular kitchen trend and I’m not surprised. You don’t have to go overboard either – just a few pastel pops and you’ll have the prettiest kitchen and tabletop in town. Isn’t that Le Creuset buffet casserole in chiffon pink just beautiful?

Le Creuset jug, R190, oil burner R229, square roasting dish, R149

    White’s Right

When making your wedding registry selection, I’d say its imperative that you have a good solid selection of white classics that will stand the test of time. From sturdy ceramic roasters that go from oven to table to a jug that can double as a vase and an oil burner that looks great both when its in use or not, you really can’t go wrong with white.

    Kitchenaid mixer, R6990

    True Love

There is no greater love, right? Sigh, Kitchen Aid mixers are the stuff that sweet, delicious, perfect dreams are made of. Put one on your gift or wedding registry list. Somebody might bestow upon you this lifelong item of unadulterated beauteousness.  Yuppie7

Glass storage jar, R129, Glass Yuppiechef canisters, from R149, Carafes, from R499

Beautiful storage can make life feel so sorted. Yuppiechef has introduced their own range of must haves like the glass canisters (priced from only R149, hello!). You’ll also find plenty of other classic and oh-so-stylish storage buys on the site.

    Self-watering herb pot, R449, Self-watering herb pot, R299, Outdoor planter, R610

    Growth Potential

More and more i’m loving giving plants and herbs as gifts and when it’s in a seriously stylish planter – even more so. These would make a great gift for someone. Yuppie9

Outdoor hurricane lamp, R689, Photo cube, R199

    Style Buys

Yuppiechef’s homeware selection just keeps growing. This Eva Solo hurricane lamp is a classic and I like the photo cube too. Yuppie10

Biscuit jar, R379, Tea towels, R139 for 2

    Pattern & Print

If pattern and print is your thing, you’ll find some lustworthy lovelies to buy at Yuppiechef. I’m mad about this canister and the tea towels are delicious too. Click here for more tea towels to drool over.

Duvet Cover Set, R949, Chevron placemats, R349 for 6, Faux fur throw, R1199, Napkins, R249 for 6

    Lovely Linen

I love that Yuppiechef is becoming a one-stop department store style shop! Now that they’ve added linen to the mix – from table to bed linen, your registry needs will be totally sorted. I think a faux fur throw is a fabulous wedding gift and for the couple that has everything – quality linen is a must!

So there you have it – some classics I think every weddng registry should have, some lust haves on my list and some pretties that would be both lovely to give and wonderful to receive!
