• So Loverboy The Captain and i spent the whole of Saturday trawling the Paarden Eiland stores looking for tiles, appliances, basins, baths blah blah blah…you get the picture! And while checking out the gazillion options can get tedious after a while it’s also so exciting that our new home is coming together and we’re getting a picture of what its going to look like.

Admittedly i am the most excited about the interiors and how we’re going to make everything work on a shoestring budget (Bargain Betty rubbing her hands together in glee) but getting the basics right is starting to make things feel really real.

This morning i did a little fantasy interiors shop at Weylandts…and while i’m not sure i’ll ever be able to forego colour and pattern to this extent, i do like the restful look and feel their products help create in a space

If fantasy shopping feels this good, I wonder what REAL shopping is like!
