• The latest online store that’s got my credit card champing at the bit is Collerette. Meaning ‘little collar’ in French, this cute and chic cyber boutique for babies and kids was founded by Katia Lekarski, a French-born model who lives in South Africa with her young daughter, Milla. Katia’s fashion-savvy editing and refined eye (plus frequent travels to Europe) equals uniquely sourced brands and products ranging from clothing to furniture to toys, accessories and decor. Think Lu & Barnabé goodies for the home; the latest Sophie la Girafe toys; LuckyBoySunday homeware (divine); Flensted mobiles; My Lovely Thing illustrations by Marie Pertiaux; the Heico range of ceramic night lights (investment pieces that your kids will be handing down to theirs); Mini Rodini clothing (Scandi yumminess); my absolute favourite Edition Paumes books (seriously, this Japanese publisher makes the most gorgeous, inspiring eye candy by shooting the interiors of creative types and their spaces, from London to Paris to Copenhagen); Aden + Anais muslin blankets (must-haves); and the most beauteous, homegrown range of soft shoes by Myang (that I think Charley Rose’s sausage feet would look beyond adorable squished into!).
