Morning all – shew, i’m back in the saddle after a horrible week in bed! Yikes, being ill in a heatwave is not pretty – thank you so much for the kind comments – i really appreciate it. I must be honest, it was a good feeling to unplug for a while but i was glad the lovely Li was there to keep you company on Friday – wasn’t her post on Lorenzo Nassimbeni great?

To start off the week, i’ve posted some pix of spaces that caught my eye on my favourite Tumblr

i love a small and cosy bedroom and the blue of the cladded walls is  right up my alley

a grey and white palette seems to still be the trend for bedrooms but personally i’d like to throw a bunch of really bright cotton cushions into that mix

a lovely serene space for an afternoon snooze

you had me at map and finished me at the map wallpaper

i’ve got my eyes peeled for bedside tables at the moment – i like these but they’re too zingy for our bedroom, we definitely need tables with drawers in them for all the clutter that accumulates – what’s with that?

this pic reminds me so much of a tiny flat that i used to live in. It had the smallest bedroom (about 3m x 2m) with glass windows all around. It was at the top of the building so i had amazing views of the city and the sea and when i went freelance i set up a little trestle like this under a window in a corner of the lounge – loved that flat.

    Love chairs as sidetables

I also love the chairs as side tables and would not hesitate to use one, but – space – I need loads of it next to my bed.
