• I’ve written about trays a few times on the blog and my love affair with these useful clutter clearers continues – i’m finding myself seeking them out everytime i pop into MrP and i spotted some lovely boxes at @home the other day too. H&M always has gorgeous boxes and trays and i see the marble ones i bought there a while ago are still there (check out this post for some local buys i spotted a few months ago). So, if you still need convincing about the usefulness of beautiful boxes and trinket trays for your coffee table, your bathroom, your bedside table, your dressing table, look no further my lovelies…

A box hides a multitude of treasures and essentials – great for a bedside table and that handcream you put on every night, TV remotes and other stuff that collects. This one is from @home

I love the idea of a glass box for jewellery or sunglasses – i spotted a similar box to this at H&M (i actually picked it up and put it down about three times – now i wish i had bought it) buy-oval-side-plate-cape-town-black-fox-south-africa2_1024x1024 buy-oval-side-plate-cape-town-nautical-anchor-south-africa2_1024x1024

Sugar & Vice have such nice ceramic goodies for the home – like these gorgeous trinket trays which would also make nice soap dishes, don’t you think?

Spotted this lovely tray on my web wanderings (over here) – isn’t it lovely?

I spotted this DIY too and it reminded me of of one that Jo from Pretty Pretty did for the blog yonks ago – read it here, it’s such a fun and easy DIY to do

There’s that glass box vibe again – nice huh?

And these melamine trays from Mono Online are so versatile for every eventuality in the home

Just wait until your little one starts pottery at school – they bring home the most beautiful little heart shaped bowls for rings….
