• Good morning lovelies! A few weeks ago, I popped into the Weylandts Green Point store to take a look at what’s been happening with this fabulous, local design and décor brand. They’ve been around for 19 years now and have certainly cemented themselves as one of the most desirable local homeware brands there is and I was thrilled when they asked me to pop in to take a look at what’s new in store and to let them know what looks I love. Well, what’s not to love? I could easily commandeer a Stuttafords Van Line truck to cart half the showroom to my home! From their incredibly stylish and timeless couches to their beautiful custom designed cabinets and a serious selection of smalls to get the ‘Weylandts look’ just right, they’re a one stop on-trend globally influenced décor and design stop to note. They’ve also just launched a very, very covetable kitchen collection, which I’m going to unpack in a separate blog post.

What I discovered is that the Weylandts we know and love has refined itself into a series of looks, which while they are standalones, also work together beautifully. The Weylandts signature style where you see loads of natural textures and tones remains a strong thread throughout – add some splashes of metallics and other luxurious details and it’s so in keeping with where interiors are today.

    The looks are

THE ICON – Classic signature pieces with a handcrafted edge and natural palette and materials – the Weylandts ‘look’ that we all know and love

    Key pieces I love

Weylandts was the first retailer to make global style cool and they’ve continued to scour the globe looking for timeless pieces that will become talking points in people’s homes. That stool kills me!

THE MODERNIST Scandi influenced, modern, lean lines and very, very easy on the eye

    Key pieces I love

See how white and wood and some lovely lean black lines are the cornerstones of this look? I love its urban-ness and I love how timeless and unaffected it is. I want the chair!

THE CURATOR This is where things are more ‘grown up’. There’s a definite sense of luxury with one-off, carefully sourced pieces, intricate detailing and a sense of the bespoke

    Key pieces I love

Weylandts calls this look ‘humble luxury’. It’s got an old schoolness to it that I like – a sense that pieces have been passed from one generation to the next and it has a sense of gravitas that isn’t over the top.

This couch from  is just amazing!

THE RETREAT As the name suggests, this look is all about laidback luxe –relaxed style that’s perfect for creating homely environments

This is the look that is most about where I am right now – I’m looking for comfort at home without losing out on style.

THE NATURALIST The most stylish indoor-outdoor living furniture and décor you’ll find

    Key pieces I love

I love the marriage of textures – don’t you?

Weylandts are without a doubt the leaders in style centric outdoor furniture!

I got a little camera happy but I wanted to show you some of the things that caught my eye on my visit – things I want, want, want and looks I love!

There are scores of home zone setups that will get you thinking about what you might want to do to your own home

If you’re into greening your space, you MUST check out the upstairs section with furniture and really affordable smalls and loads of choices for greening your home in style.
