• Good morning lovelies – holy smokes, it’s just a few weeks to Christmas!! I am freaking out just a tad as there is so much to do before we go away – from cat vaccinations to deadlines at Good Housekeeping, Christmas table decorating workshops…stop the clocks! If the thought of the gifts that you still need to buy is stressing you out (help!! WHAT am i going to buy The Captain?)…i really recommend shopping online. I’ve bought almost all of my gifts online this year and besides the mystery of what to buy The Captain, everything feels pretty sorted. I bought a big fat roll of paper from Merrypak the last time i was there a few months back so my wrapping is sorted, i’ve ordered customised tags from Love Letters Stationery which i can’t wait to receive and i’ll do a Woolies meat order to pop into the freezer next week. If you are on a mission to sort out your gifting for the season, read on…i’ve made a selection from Hello Pretty that might help.

This leather bound journal is called The Beatnik and it’s made by Stockton Goods. This is exactly the kind of journal my 16 year old song-writing, poetry composing stepdaughter would love. She’d love the stitchwork detailing. This would also be a lovely gift for an artist for their sketches – it’s very classy and oh so hipster. It costs R365 and you can buy it here

What to give your Instagram obsessed nieces? A phone cover of course! In a world where personalisation is everything – these cool covers are a win! They cost R150 each and are made by Didzy Designs. Click here to buy.

For the man about town? This leather Trinity Trifold wallet by Savior is a wonderful buy. It’s a great size and fits into even the smallest pocket – and it has space for up to 8 cards plus it has a coin pouch. I really like their products, they have iPad and iPhone sleeves and a really cool slim wallet which might well be my solution for The Captain. The Trinity Trifold costs R850 – click here to buy.

I absolutely LOVE these mugs by Sugar & Vice, one of the most fabulous ceramics suppliers on Hello Pretty. I know exactly who i am buying that Make Today your Bitch mug for this year! They cost R155 each and you can buy them here. Sugar & Vice have loads of other fabulous gift buys. HP2

These KIBA stools are a real spoil – they’re not cheap (they start at R2850 each) but i would have one as a decorative item in my home – maybe in a corner with a really contemporary plant holder on it. They’re made by Sutla Design and you can buy them here. image_1364

I am absolutely crazy about this bracelet – it’s the perfect pop of colour for a simple outfit but it would also look great layered with others and it’s nicely priced (R150) too. I am placing my order for 2 today – one for me and one for my Mom – love it so much. It’s made by Anna Moss and you can buy this one and ones like it but in other colourway here.

I couldn’t resist sharing Spencer the whale with you today – isn’t he adorable? I love his simple lines, his chilled out demeanour and that he is both a ciddle toy and a cushiony fellow to squish and lie on. He’s handmade by the peeps at Sprouts Kids Co and you can buy him and some of his other animal friends here for R320.

Stuck on what to send to someone far away or maybe you know someone who could do with a spot of joy in their life – this star pillowcase from Big Heart Co is such a lovely buy! It costs R175 – i love it! Shop for it here. Bog Heart Co has so many other wonderful printed products – from tote bags to cushion covers – they’re a great gifting solution.

That’s it from me for another week of recommendations from Hello Pretty – happy online shopping lovelies!
