• Good morning lovelies! So hear we are, just a few weeks before Christmas, holy freaking mackerel! I’m so excited Hello Pretty are on board again for a lovely local Christmas gift guide featuring products from vendors who sell through South Africa’s most passionate portal for local and handmade products. Sam and Scott from Hello Pretty have done so much for providing a platform for makers of things to sell their wares and of course for those of us looking for a no fuss way to purchase things for ourselves and others – i take my hat off to them, i really do! Hello Pretty literally has thousands of interesting, unique, affordable items which would make great gifts and I’ll be posting 8 guides featuring my picks of Christmas pretties from them. There’ll also be a Christmas giveaway, so keep an eye on the posts.

    Today’s post features

I’ve featured Natascha van Niekerk on the blog before and i know many of you really like her work. This leaf print is a fabulous buy for the person who loves botanical imagery and motifs – or the major plant lover! I’ve so loved filling my space with plants this year so this print is right up my alley. Also, it’s marked down from R1350 to R950 AND it comes with a free print hanger – bonus! These psychedlic notelets from Party Bunch & Co are so nice for a person who appreciates fabulous stationery with a bit of a kick. I’d snap them up faster than you can sing the first bar to Jungle Boogie – they’re inspired by jungle motifs, what’s not to love?! They cost R45 – but them and other amazing stationery here.

What to give the person who you think is the shiz? Well, a gold embossed dung beetle cushion, obviously! The much loved tok tokkie is taken to new, chic heights with this design by Cape Island Heights. It costs R450 and you can buy it here. They have amazing other products – go and take a look! 4-small_plant_1

I am an airplant sucker and a himmerli sucker so this hanging himmerli with an airplant is something i would love! I’d hang it above my desk or in our bathroom, i really love it. Its from a store called Hobby and its costs R310 – i want that! Buy it here.

There’s not much i don’t love from the Sugar & Vice store on Hello Pretty, but these little vases i especially like! They’re perfect for housing posies picked from the garden and i think they make great gifts with a fabulous, edgy look! They cost R170 each and you can buy them here.

Isn’t this gold plated leaf pendant lovely? Its so beautiful in its simplicity. Find it in the Muchi Galoosh store for R580. You can buy it here.

Not only is this teeny bee just beaut – it’s also a nice price. Find it and a large assortment of pendant, earrings and the like in a host of designs from Hallo Jane. It costs R290 and you can buy it here. 8-ginger_lime_atmosphere_and_linen

When i was growing up i thought soap and scented products were such arbitrary gifts. Now, they’re my best – especially when products like this room and linen fragrance from Ropyal Afrique du Sud are on offer. it costs R220 and you can buy it here.

Keep your eyes peeled for more Christmas shopping ideas from Hello Pretty – i’m, so excited to be sharing my finds from this amazing South African design portal with you!
