Hello lovelies. Did any of you get to Kamers a few days back at the Castle of Good Hope? I was a bit bummed that I missed it but all three kids were sick and it just wasn’t even an option to leave the house. It’s always a treat (and really insightful if you’re in the industry) to meet new talent and see what beautiful things our local crafters, designers and artists are producing – and walk away with a little something-something for your home, wardrobe or kids, obvs. I checked in on their blog because of my FOMO and then sidled over to their online shop, which I haven’t browsed for ages. It’s really packed and super well categorised and my first reaction was ummm, hello! There are some seriously fabulous lust haves out there. But, in the spirit of austerity, I’ve whittled it down to ten of my best. From what I can gather there’s another show in October. I’ll be there. Snot, temperatures, sinusitis, strep throat and bronchitis not withstanding…
Raincoat goals thanks to Rosehip Design
These Faraja shoes in stone by Uzuri though…
How adorable and stylish are these wooden cameras by La Fede
So in love with these nesting dolls by Tiger Lily (available in lots of colours including a seriously covetable black set)
These oven gloves inspired by encaustic folksy tiles by Lapoplap are really cool
I’m on a mission to wear more jewellery and I would be VERY happy to start with either one of these beetle pieces by Anna Rosholt, but if I had to choose it would be the ring. Isn’t it insanely amazing?
Tippee shelves by The Duck Egg Company are exactly what my kids’ room is lacking. In fact I’d totally have them in the lounge or hallway
I can’t remember where I first spotted the quirky range of light boxes by Beards & Banjos but I really like their nostalgic, vintage, slightly Twin Peaksy motel room vibe.
Mies Hand & Body Oil smells like a dream and my wintery claws are in desperate need
This hand-painted A-line dress is so, so me. It’s by Heart & Heritage
