Children’s Portraiture Workshop
10th and 11th June 2015
Cost: R1 700
Children’s portraiture is a challenging and very rewarding form of photography. Getting beautiful, inspiring images involves much more than simply pointing your camera at your little subject and pressing the shutter.
For me, a good portrait reveals something about the subject’s character, whether it’s a mood, a hint of humour or some other aspect of who they are.
Combining discussions about how to interact with the little people in front of your lens with technical tips, this workshop will allow you to go out and photograph children with more confidence and.
Over the day and a half, we will be discussing best camera settings, lenses, angles and approach. We will talk in depth about how to get genuine emotions shining through in your images, and we will touch on editing and presenting images professionally too.
The workshop will include a beautiful styled shoot so that you will have practical, hands on experience.
This is a fun, friendly and relaxed way to gain knowledge and meet other like-minded photographers.
