• Morning Lovelies, how are you? I had a chilled weekend – The Captain finished a module of his course that has kept him away from home for three weeks so it’s been great to see him again. We had dinner with friends on Saturday night at Josephine’s Cookhouse – loved the food but the service was tricky. Sunday morning involved a RUN! A big move for me since i broke my foot in June and i have to admit i was finished afterwards! I also went to the opening of Kamers Vol Geskenke which i will be blogging about this afternoon and which i am going to again this morning to see what i missed – it’s a visual extravaganza!

On that note…take a look at these exquisite paper and pressed flower artworks by Dutch artist Anne ten Donkelaar which i discovered via’s Jo’s blog …wow!

    Beautiful no?

These are stunning! What a huge amount of intricate work but so worth it to admire these beautiful (almost 3D) pieces. BTW, think the link for image no. 348 is broken (making me wonder what I missed) 🙂

Isn’t Anne’s work just so amazing. Imagine having the patience to cut out in such exquisite detail.
