Guys, you have to know about this cool new eBook. I’ve just bought and downloaded it, and it’s a goodie.
It’s a really nifty idea. Compiled by the ridiculously talented Michelle McInerney of the craft-tastic blog, MollyMoo, the book is a collaborative effort and features original ideas and fun things to make and do by eighteen of the most imaginative mommy bloggers from around the world. We’re talking the who’s who of kiddie crafters.
I like that each spread includes how long the craft takes, the appropriate age for the child to play with, or help to make, the item, and then really cute pictures with graphic illustrations adding a layer of fun interactivity. There’s really nothing complicated or expensive.
There are paper and cardboard crafts; handmade toys; recycling ideas; felt and sewing crafts; pom pom crafts; and using objects from nature.
There are free templates and patterns for felt fairies, toilet roll unicorns, flower sewing cards, bow ties and a woven dolls skirt available at the end of the book too. It’s all really jolly good fun.
It’s worth it alone just to find out how to make these utterly divine pom-pom sock puppet poodles. Are they not just totes adorbs?
Go onto MollyMoo and just click on the link to download to your computer or iPad or tablet of choice. It’s about R160 to download and is easy-peasy to get your grubby paws on. Happy crafting.
