• Hi lovelies! We’ve written about the magic of mustard before on the blog (check out this fashion and interiors mash up here) but i’m seeing it more and more in interiors so i thought it was time to do another one. On its own, i’m like ‘meh, a bit too seventies for me’ BUT mixed in different colour scenarios and teamed with other strong colours like teal and pretty pink, then i can do mustard – here’s the thing though, the interiors types are calling it Ochre – ooh, fancy! Have a look, i’d love to know your thoughts about mustard Ochre.

Love the mono look? You don’t need to lose your contemporary pedigree when injecting colour – look how awesome ochre looks

This retro chair would look pretty retirement-home-ish on its own but in this uber cool scenario, it rocks!

Ooh yes, ochre velvet i could do! And the marriage of teal and ochre? It’s perfect!

Now look how ochre and pink team up?! Wow, that’s pretty.

Some sunny ochre vibes for your bedroom perhaps?

Ochre really does take on quite a sophisticated edge when its in sumptuous fabrics

I like this paint detail a lot!

    This one too!

And how beaut is this Anthropologie rug?

It seems ochre teams beautifully with green too…nice to know!

Now…what are your thoughts lovelies? Are you on the ochre train or not?
